Preah Vihear

Cambodia tourist attractions include the province of Preah Vihear. It is one of the least populated provinces in the Kingdom of Cambodia. This tranquil site is popular for the PreaVihear temple, standing in the vicinity of the borderline between two southeastern nations in Asia, Thailand and Cambodia. The Thai people call the Preah Vihear in Cambodia  as Prasat Khao Phra Wiharn.

As this region is not so well developed, access to the Preah Vihear of Cambodia is not easy enough. There are only two roads that can take you to the location of Preah Vihear in Cambodia. If you are coming from the western part of Cambodia, you have to take the route through Oddar Meanchey province. From the southern part take the route via Kompong Thom. You can also opt for the road link heading towards Stung Treng. However this route is favorable only during the dry seasons
